Ra-One Mixed reviews
SRK's long awaited movie is out. Promos of the movie has been great and SRK has timed it right - Diwali. However the movie story line is weak and good for only young kids. I'll wait for the DVD release...
I watched this movie 2 weeks back. I feel that the movie should R or MA rated. Some of the jokes were not only unfunny but also vulgar.
Several scenes seem to be "inspired" by Rajni's Robot movie. The main section of any scifi story is where the convincing explanation of the pseudo scientific phenomenon (or futuristic occurance) happens. As mentioned, this vital component of storyline was also weak.
The only portion that I liked was the twist in the chammak challo song. It is a timepass movie but as always, the lack of originality in spite of the high budgets is shameful for bollywood. I would definitely not like to watch this movie again. Infact, I do not recommend this movie.
The day Plagiarism is shunned by Indian public, will be the nemisis of mediocrity at the top rung of all industries including bollywood.
